The centrepiece of Larach Sithe, the Sun Room is the largest room in the house with windows on three sides and a dramatic glass gable wall facing down the valley. Former church pews are fitted around the walls alongside a large oak dining table.
With underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, it's as welcoming on a wild winter evening as it is spectacular on a bright summer morning.
A large, well-equipped dining kitchen opens off the Sun Room through triple doors, creating a seamless entertaining space for the whole group. For special occasions, both tables can be extended and placed together in the Sun Room to create a single 6.5m banquet table.
The latest addition to Larach Sithe is a private 8-person steam sauna. Located close to the garage, it can be accessed from the rear of the house or via one of the upstairs bedrooms.
Operating at a higher humidity than a traditional sauna (around 70%) but at a lower temperature (around 70ยฐC), the sauna can be booked separately and pre-set to come on at a chosen time each day.
The house has three double bedrooms and two family rooms, all with en-suite facilities and wardrobe space. Super King beds in the family rooms can be split into singles with sufficient notice.
